In 1972, when young Sean was eight years old, his fathers tole an original Lowry painting from the local art gallery. He wanted to make a statement that the art gallery was not open on Sundays for the working man to be able to go in and appreciate art.
Not only was the security system in the art gallery updated, but indeed it opened on Sundays.
Sean grew up to become an artist and so influenced by that experience he began painting in the style of Lowry. He exhibits and sells nationwide.
