Ed Woolley trained in illustration in Southampton Institute and recently began to focus on local photography and painting in oils on canvas. Taking inspiration from the dramatic landscape of South Wales, he frequently walks in the valleys and along the Gwent levels, with sea views across the Severn Estuary. He strives to capture the tranquility and turbulence of the skies, and the bright colours of the inland and coastal landscape.
Beyond Wales he paints scenes from his travels, emphasising street perspectives and scenes from everyday life.
