This place is beyond special to me.
From running around as teenagers in the middle of the night to playing hide and seek in the bracken with my children, it’s a spot I always come back to.
A place for fun, a place to celebrate, a place to sit and mourn, a place for quiet reflection. It has always been there for me through the good times and the bad and lives firmly in my heart.

I am an Abergavenny based artist, my preferred medium is prismacolor pencils.
As a fell runner who lives in the Brecon Beacons national park I get to experience the magnificence and harshness of nature on a regular basis.
The dark and brooding but also beautiful colour pallets nature provides us with is what I try to capture in my work as I feel it parallels the harsh and yet wonderful experience that is life itself.
